You need them to stick with the story and finish it. At least I could never find much advice online, and what is written, often has the idea left open to interpretation and that makes figuring out how to write a TV movie with commercial breaks even harder. But little is written about the nine-act structure for TV movies. This template works beautifully to give the audience the ultimate experience as they sympathize with the MC (main character) and take the journey to fulfillment. Or not, if you are making a movie in France. The second act is the main part of the film, lasting sixty minutes (ish) and taking us to the point just before the hero takes off with renewed vigor (act three) to achieve their goal and tie things up nicely.

Or am I stuck with simply comparing versions manually? If that's not possible, what are the import options for moving files back and forth between Final Draft and Word? Or are there third-party document tracking systems that aren't too much in the way of overkill? Perhaps Scrivener can be a go-between to track revisions? If it's not supported in the application itself, perhaps there's a plug-in? Is there any solution to this? Moving the text to Microsoft Word and back is not a realistic option, due to the complexity of screenplay formatting. (You don't have to do side-by-side comparisons when you have this information handy.) Word also lets you add notations in the text, like this might work better if you wrote it like this.
